BIOGRAPHY
Born 1953 in Shepherds Bush London, Pete started playing bass in 1968, by then he was living in Manchester. His first band Burial was a four piece hard rock outfit playing Grand Funk Railroad & Black Sabbath covers plus some original material.

1971 bought the first incarnation of Savoury Duck, a five piece progressive rock band. 'Duck's' music was all self penned material and during its lifespan supported such acts as Caravan, Daryl Way's Wolf & Gordon Giltrap.
This was followed by a stint with another Manchester outfit The Outlaws, a four piece country rock band. Upon the demise of this band, Pete spent his remaining years in Manchester playing the 'cabaret circuit', with various bands.

After moving to Cambridge in 1980 he joined a local four piece: Sindy & The Action Men. 'Sindy' gigged quite extensively, with the London pub circuit being regular, playing at such venue's as The Fulham Palace Greyhound etc.The band also undertook some recording at Spaceward Studio's in Stretham, near Ely, and released it's first single Your So Lucky. This culminated with a live video, shot at The Grad Pad in Cambridge.

1982 bought about a return to the 'soup circuit' with local band Charisma which featured Casey Synge, late of the early '70's 3 piece female vocal group Thunderthighs. After a short break back to the pub rock circuit, Pete spent a couple of years with Profile another local function band.
In 1988 Pete joined local 'fretburner' Jon Beedle's Electric Boogie Band, a four piece blues/rock band, with Ian Turner on drums & the late Jimmy Graham on keyboards/guitar. The 'Boogie Band' gigged around the local pub circuit for around four years & then sadly disbanded.
After spending a few years with local hard rock band Rufus the Boogie band reformed in 1999 as a three piece. They have released two CD's The Inevitable & Calm Before The Storm and still do the occasional pub gig & music festival in and around East Anglia. Web: http://www.myspace.com/jonnyroxxguitar
